Head of the Master's Program
The Master’s Program in Chemical Engineering (PSMTK) at UNS aspires for the Program to possess specialized and superior capabilities in mastering the field of renewable energy studies based on bio-resources.
Graduates of the Master’s Program in Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Universitas Sebelas Maret are designed to possess the following expertise:
1. Able to perform deepening or broadening of knowledge in the fields of processes, processing systems, and equipment needed to convert raw materials into products that have added value through chemical, physical, and biological processes.
2. Able to use chemical engineering concepts to analyze and solve chemical engineering problems.
3. Able to develop logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking in the field of chemical engineering that considers and applies humanistic values.
4. Able to compose ideas, research results, and scientific arguments responsibly and based on academic ethics.
5. Able to communicate research results through media to the academic community and the wider community.
6. Able to manage, develop, and maintain a work network with peer colleagues within the institution and the wider research community.
7. Able to increase learning capacity and be responsible for work in their field of expertise independently.
8. Able to document, store, secure, and retrieve research data in order to ensure validity and prevent plagiarism.
